Terms of service

Draft

This is a plain-language working draft, last updated September 2026. It has not been reviewed by counsel — treat it as a description of current practice, not a final legal instrument.

These terms cover your use of Secluding — the sessions, the dashboard, and the evidence bundles the service produces. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Secluding gives you a browser (Google Chrome or Tor Browser) running in an isolated sandbox on our infrastructure, streamed to you as video. You interact with it; you never route your own device's traffic through it, and it never runs on your device.

Accounts and access

Access is by invite, subscription, or admin grant, depending on your plan. You're responsible for actions taken from your account, including sessions you start and artifacts you download. Sign-in uses a magic link or code sent to your email; keep that inbox secure.

Sessions and plans

Each plan grants a number of concurrent sessions, a maximum session length, and an idle timeout. Sessions are disposable: nothing survives termination except the artifacts described below. Team plans pool sessions across members; a team admin controls roles and can end a member's session.

Acceptable use

Sessions are for interactive browsing, investigation, and research. See our acceptable use policy for what's out of bounds — it's incorporated into these terms by reference.

Artifacts and retention

Evidence bundles (HAR, screenshots, packet capture, and related files) are retained for the period your plan specifies, then deleted. You can download a bundle any time before it expires. We don't restore deleted artifacts.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. Downgrading takes effect on your next billing cycle and never terminates a session already running — it only changes the pool your next session request sees. Extra slots are billed from the day you add them.

Termination

You can close your account at any time; running sessions end and scheduled artifact deletion proceeds on schedule. We can suspend an account for a clear violation of the acceptable use policy, with notice where practical.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as described on this site, without additional warranty. We aren't liable for content encountered during a session, or for decisions made based on an evidence bundle we produced in good faith.

Changes

We'll update this page as the product changes and note the date above. Material changes will be announced by email.
